Wolcottville, Indiana
The Lake
Witmer Lake rests in LaGrange County near Wolcottville, part of the beloved Indian Lakes Chain. Boaters can travel between connected lakes on a lazy afternoon, making it one of the most active stretches of water in northern Indiana.
As an all-sports lake, Witmer welcomes everything from waterskiing to quiet morning fishing. The deep, cool basin keeps the water clear and the fish healthy.
The association monitors water quality throughout the season and works with the DNR to keep the lake thriving for the next generation of families.
